Terms and Conditions of Access: The right of admission is reserved. In particular, the organiser of the BMW M Festival Event (including its agents) reserves the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the BMW M Festival Event any persons who are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive or who is not entitled to attend the BMW M Festival Event. Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from the organiser of the BMW M Festival Event (including its employees, partners and agents) (the ”Organiser”) may be removed from the BMW M Festival Event. In that regard, the Organiser, at its sole discretion, retains the right to remove anyone from the BMW M Festival Event or venue if their behaviour is causing risk and or offence to any other party. The venue owner’s rules shall also apply.
No cooler boxes, braais, deck chairs or picnic appliances, food or drinks (alcohol and or soft) can be brought into the BMW M Festival Event. For the avoidance of doubt, alcoholic beverages must not be taken into or out of the BMW M Festival Event. It is an offense for minors to purchase or consume alcohol or for persons to supply alcohol to minors. Alcohol may only be consumed in clearly marked areas of the BMW M Festival Event.
Attendees are generally not permitted to bring food or beverage products purchased at commercial outlets outside the venue’s licensed area into the BMW M Festival Event. Decisions about whether such products will be permitted are at the discretion of the Organiser. Attendees will generally be advised to dispose of such items or will have the items confiscated prior to entering the venue. This does not apply to food or beverages for attendees with special dietary requirements, provided that such food or beverages are not packaged in prohibited containers.
No under 18’s will be allowed access to any Bars where alcohol is served. Persons under the age of 16 may enter for free only if accompanied by an adult. For the M-VIP and M-VVIP area, all persons regardless of age must purchase a ticket and minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Persons under the age of 14 must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the BMW M Festival Event or to refer to the police any persons under the age of 14 who are without adult supervision.
No children may be left unsupervised by a parent or guardian when accessing or playing in the “kids play area”.
No dangerous objects will be allowed into the BMW M Festival Event unless you have a valid pass (ticket) that has not already been used to gain access to the BMW M Festival Event, you will be denied access. Bags and other items may be subject to inspection and attendees may be searched. Attendees who refuse inspections or searches may be denied entry to the BMW M Festival Event.
Unauthorised persons are prohibited from entering or attending the BMW M Festival Event and any other area not accessible by the public.
Items which, in the opinion of the Organiser, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the BMW M Festival Event or venue. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, cans, bottles, flares, fireworks, laser pointers, loud hailers and weapons of any description and may include certain musical instruments, flags and flagpoles and any other items considered by the Organiser to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person.
Cameras (including digital cameras), audio and video recorders may only be brought into the venue if agreed to between both the Organiser and the attendee. Should it be agreed, at the request of the attendee, that such items be confiscated, the attendee shall be liable for additional charges equal to the costs incurred in having the said items confiscated (such as security costs).
Attendees are not permitted to transmit, broadcast, sell, license or otherwise publish, disseminate or reproduce any recordings (including, without limitation, photographic, video or sound recordings) of the Events without the prior written approval of both the attendee and the Organisers. Such recordings may be confiscated or erased. Any recordings or recording devices which are confiscated will become the property of both parties.
Attendees acknowledge that the Organiser may use an attendee’s image or likeness as part of any recording of the events taking place at the BMW M Festival Event.
Attendees assume all risk of any damage or loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) however it arises (whether under contract, delict, statute or otherwise) at the BMW M Festival Event. Attendees bring personal effects onto the premises at their own risk. The Organiser will not be responsible for any damage to or loss or theft of an attendee’s personal property. For the avoidance of doubt and in addition to the foregoing, neither the Organiser nor any of its officers, subsidiaries, holding companies, affiliates, successors, assigns, directors, service providers, suppliers or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the attendee’s participation or attendance at the BMW M Festival Event.
Smoking is prohibited in non-designated areas of the BMW M Festival Event and its precincts. Attendees who smoke in the venue commit an offense, to which fines apply.
Attendees may not be admitted if their tickets are damaged or defaced or their tickets have not been purchased from an authorised ticket agent.
The Organiser may add, withdraw or substitute competitors, teams or artists and/or vary advertised material, programmes, prices, seating arrangements, audience capacity, the venue or programme times without any liability attracting to the Organiser.
