THE RHINO ORPHANAGE.

BMW Group South Africa is proud of our partnership with The Rhino Orphanage since 2018. Amongst other aid, we’ve provided the organization with two locally manufactured BMW X3 vehicles to support in their fight against the devastating effects of rhino poaching in the country. This is an endeavour we are passionate about, and our support has successfully helped to re-introduce baby rhinos back into the wild.

The Rhino Orphanage is a Limpopo based organization which was founded by Arrie Van Deventer in 2012. It is the first specialist, dedicated, non-commercial centre that cares for orphaned and injured baby rhinos with the only aim of releasing them back into the wild. It was created as the result of a lack of a specialised place for rearing baby rhinos that have been orphaned as a consequence of the current poaching crisis.
