3.1.   Course times must be strictly adhered to, and late arrivals shall not be permitted to participate in the course.

3.2.   The course fees will be forfeited, and re-bookings shall only be permitted upon receipt of payment for the new booking.

3.3.   Participants are requested to allow adequate travelling time to arrive at the registration and course venues on time.

4.1.   The cost of the course fee shall be paid to BMW no later than 10 (ten) working days prior to the start date of the course.

4.2.   Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made to the following account: BMW Advanced Driver Training, Standard Bank, Midrand Branch, Cheque Account No. 202 472 183, and Branch Code 001155.  (As a reference, please state your name / company name on the deposit slip / internet banking, and please e-mail the proof of payment together with your course date to drivertraining@bmw.co.za

4.3.   In the event that payment has not been made as aforesaid, the participant shall not be entitled to participate in the course.

5.1.   The participant voluntarily participates in the course and is aware of the risks, dangers, and perils attendant upon any form of motoring event.

5.2.   The participant participates in the course entirely at his or her own risk and will be required to sign an indemnity in favour of BMW upon registration.

6.1    For reasons of safety, all participants shall for the entire duration of the course be prohibited from overtaking others and this shall also apply when driving in public road traffic.  Exceptions, if any, to this prohibition shall be subject to explicit instructions given by the authorised BMW M Driving Experience instructors.

6.2   In the event that a participant does not comply with any of these provisions relating to conduct, or in the event of the participant having consumed any intoxicating substance(s) or exhibiting any unacceptable or unreasonable behavior, BMW shall, in its sole discretion be entitled to exclude the participant from participation in the course and the course fees shall be forfeited.

8.1.   In the event of a cancellation, the following time limits shall apply, and cancellation fees shall be due and payable by the participant as follows:

8.1.1.Cancellation 15 working days or more prior to the start of the course – no fee.

8.1.2.Cancellation less than 15 but more than 10 working days prior to the start of the course – 30% of the course fee.

8.1.3.Cancellation less than 10 but more than 7 working days prior to the start of the course – 50% of the course fee.

8.1.4.Cancellation less than 7 working days prior  to the start of the course or in the case of non-attendance – 100% of the course fee.

8.2.   Cancellation must be made in writing in order to be effective.

8.3.    The time limits set out above refer to the time of receipt of the written cancellation by BMW.

8.4.   BMW shall be entitled to offset the cancellation fee payable against payment of course fees already made by the participant.

8.5.    If applicable, the course fee, alternatively the balance thereof, shall be reimbursed to the participant.

8.6.   If a participant received a complimentary voucher for a BMW M Driving Experience with the purchase of a qualifying BMW vehicle sale the following limits shall apply:

8.6.1. Cancellation is more than 7 (seven) working days prior to the start of the course, then a reschedule will be permitted.

8.6.2.Cancellation is less than 7 (seven) working days prior to the start of the course or in the case of non-attendance – the opportunity to participate in such a course will be forfeited. No reschedule will be allowed.

8.6.3.A complimentary voucher for a BMW M Driving Experience with the purchase of a qualifying BMW vehicle will not be eligible for a refund, as the voucher is not monetary.

8.6.4.The BMW M Driving Experience Voucher will be valid for 3 years from date of retail.

9.1.   In the event that a participant re-schedules their course, the following limits shall apply:

9.1.1.The participant has a once-off reschedule option available to them ONLY on written notice to BMW M Driving Experience at least 7 (seven) business days prior to the start date of the course. If the participant re-schedule more than once, the participant will be required to pay the full course price in order to attend.

9.2.   If a participant received a complimentary voucher for a BMW M Driving Experience with the purchase of a qualifying BMW vehicle sale the following limits shall apply when it comes to rescheduling of courses:

9.2.1.The participant has a once-off re-schedule option available to them ONLY on written notice to BMW M Driving Experience at least 7 (seven) business days prior to the start date of the course.

9.2.2.In the case where a participant has re-scheduled more than once, he will forfeit his complimentary voucher to attend the course at the BMW M Driving Experience.

9.2.3.The BMW M Driving Experience Voucher will be valid for 3 years from date of retail, any re-schedule must fall within the allotted period. 

10.1.   When an individual purchases a gift voucher from the BMW M Driving Experience, the gift voucher will be valid for 12- months from the date of issue.

10.2.   If the voucher is not redeemed within the 12-month period, the voucher will be forfeited.

10.3.   The gift voucher will only be shared in a digital format.
