Communicate your intent to return the vehicle by contacting BMW Finance in writing 30 days prior to the end of the finance agreement.
Prior to returning your vehicle to your preferred BMW Retailer, a complimentary vehicle condition assessment needs to be completed by our approved assessor TÜV SÜD. Contact them on firstname.lastname@example.org. or (021) 935 7965 to make an appointment.
Return the vehicle to your preferred BMW Retailer within 4 (four) days of the assessment and at least 7 (seven) working days prior to the contract end date. When returning your vehicle, you should have your Service Booklet, Owner’s Handbook, keys, original tools and accessories.
Prior to the vehicle being accepted by the Retailer, the vehicle will undergo a final inspection and you will be required to sign a Checklist, vehicle Condition Report as well as a VAT 264 Form.
Any charges arising from the assessment of the vehicle must be paid to BMW Finance. An invoice will be sent to you by BMW Financial Services for any excess kilometers travelled, and for any repairs that are not deemed normal wear and tear (damages as recorded on the assessment report). .
Once the BMW Select Checklist and Condition Report is received by us, your debit order will be de-activated. Please note the vehicle needs to be returned to the retailer at least 7 days before the contract end date, to ensure that the debit order is cancelled timeously.
