The BMW South Africa Production Plant situated in Rosslyn, Pretoria, produces around 80,000 BMW 3 Series Sedans, in both left- and right-hand drive, per year. More than 80% of the vehicles produced at Plant Rosslyn are exported to markets around the world including the USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. The Corporate Finance department focus on the consolidation and reporting of the company's financial results (including budgets and forecasts) from a statutory point of view, reporting to BMW AG and the Management Board as well as the drafting and reporting of internal management accounts. The department is also responsible for the controlling of the support functions, Corporate and Fleet Insurances, Treasury, Accounts Payable and Company Tax and VAT.

Together with its network partners Production Finance takes responsibility for the securing of profitable growth through value orientated steering, focussing on production costs and capital expenditure across all business segments, taking into consideration increasing volatility whilst ensuring transparency, standardisation and simplification of the financial processes as well as the steering of capital structures.

Marketing Finance specialists are responsible for the financial management of parts, accessories and the motorcycle business as well as vehicles, stock, BMW On-Call and Motorplan and Warranty reporting. Included in the main responsibilities are Controlling of Overheads and the analysis of gross profit as well as invoicing, crediting and collection of receivables predominantly from dealers.

The BMW South Africa Sales and Marketing Division is responsible for BMW and MINI brand communications, aftersales and sales channel development.
