BMW M3 SEDAN.

Welcome to the limits.

You can also tell that the BMW M3 Sedan is a genuine top athlete away from the racetrack. It always exhibits extremely precise, agile handling – above all in demanding driving situations. This is where the powerful M engine brings its thrust forcefully yet always in precisely measured doses onto the asphalt using the M DCT seven-speed double-clutch transmission (manual six-speed M transmission available).

BMW M3 aerodynamic elements.

Aerodynamic elements.

The two upright inlets for the Air Curtain and the M gill elements at the sides with integral Air Breather element reduce aerodynamic drag around the wheel arches. This optimises the aerodynamic performance and, coincidentally, also increases the heart rate.
BMW M3 carbon roof.

Exclusive carbon roof.

As part of the BMW intelligent lightweight construction concept, the Carbon roof made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) helps to reduce the vehicle's weight, shifting the car's centre of gravity lower. This leads to an increase in agility and dynamics when taking a bend, accelerating and braking.
BMW M3 LED-lights.

Full LED-lights.

In the rear lights, too, the lighting functions are performed entirely by means of light-emitting diodes. Their stretched L-shape with the continuous lighting design forms a fluid transition with the luggage compartment lid, accentuating the distinctive styling of the rear end.

BMW M3 Expressive Wheels.

Expressive Wheels.

The weight-optimised wheels of the BMW M3 Sedan ensure a self-confident appearance. Even the standard option features the impressive 18” light alloy wheels with V-spoke styling, while the special equipment boasts the 19” M light alloy wheels with double-spoke styling. Optionally available in Ferric Gray or Black, they reveal the powerful M Carbon ceramic brake or M compound brake with M logo. So too do the optional 20” light alloy wheels with Star-spoke styling, which are additionally available in black. Whichever version you opt for, the standard mixed tyres of the BMW M3 Sedan with their broader rear wheels reinforce the muscular appearance of the tail while optimising steering control and grip.

BMW M3 CS.

The interior of the all-new BMW M3 CS is defined by sporting exclusivity perfectly created by the numerous M-specific details.

Handbrake sleeve.

Centre console.

Compared with the standard production component, the centre console weighs some 30 per cent less and boasts a luxurious Alcantara covering with contrast stitching in grey. This same design features on the handbrake sleeve and the interior trim of the instrument panel.

Performance of the BMW M3.

The 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine blends the best of two worlds: a high-revving character capable of up to 7,600 rpm, and superior power culminating in peak torque of 550 Nm. Bi-turbo direct injection and typical M fine tuning make sure the engine responds directly to even the slightest touch of the accelerator with vigorous thrust and confident traction. Numerous innovations such as sleeveless construction or a lighter, forged crankshaft build on the intelligent lightweight construction concept, improve dynamics and acceleration, reduce consumption and enable an optimum axle load distribution of almost 50:50. The reward: unprecedentedly agile handling that’s impressively underscored by the unmistakable sound of the M engine.

BMW M3 CS:
Fuel consumption in l/100 km (combined): 8.4*
CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 197*

The figures in brackets refer to the vehicle with seven-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic.

Consumption data is determined in accordance to the ECE driving cycle, depending on the wheel and tyre sizes selected. The models illustrated include optional equipment.

Further information about the official fuel consumption and the official specific CO2 emissions for new passenger vehicles can be found in the 'New Passenger Vehicle Fuel Consumption and CO2 Emission Guidelines', which are availabl at all sales outlets.
The figures do not refer to an individual vehicle and do not constitute part of the offering; they are intended solely as a basis for comparison of the different vehicle types. CO2 emissions occurring during the production and provision of the fuel or other energy sources are disregarded when determining the CO2 emissions in accordance with Directive 1999/94/EC.

*The published fuel consumption and CO2 emission figures are established according to legislated technical specifications (UNECE Regulation 101/UN Regulation 83 and SANS 20101 standards), which sets out the procedures that are used to measure the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. The claimed figures are established using specific tests under standardised, carefully controlled conditions and may differ from consumption achieved under real world conditions with the influences of altitude, road surface, geographic conditions, vehicle options, temperature, humidity, tyres size and driving behaviour amongst others.
