The BMW TwinPower Turbo engines in the BMW X6.

The BMW X6 makes no compromise. It is the embodiment of power and performance - in all engine variants. At the same time, it offers outstanding efficiency. The BMW EfficientDynamics engine family combines the latest injection technologies, fully variable valve control and innovative turbochargers. This enables the BMW X6 to offer scintillating dynamics and performance while keeping fuel consumption and emissions at moderate levels.

BMW TWINPOWER TURBO PETROL ENGINES.

The top-of-the-range engine for the new BMW X6 unleashes its concentrated power of 330 kW in the new BMW X6 xDrive50i. With maximum torque of 650 Nm between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm, this engine pushes the new BMW X6 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The top speed is 250 km/h. The effectiveness of BMW EfficientDynamics technologies is reflected by moderate values of the new BMW X6 xDrive50i: Combined fuel consumption is 9.7 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 225 g/km.

The BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine is the power source in the new BMW X6 xDrive35i*. Thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, impressive performance figures are again accompanied by moderate fuel consumption and CO2 values.

With 225 kW of power and maximum torque of 400 Nm, the vehicle completes the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km/h. For a journey of 100 km, it uses 8.5 litres of fuel, with CO2 emissions of 198 g/km.

BMW TWINPOWER TURBO DIESEL ENGINES.

The M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder diesel engine in the new BMW X6 M50d impresses with breath-taking dynamics and astonishing efficiency. This is due in no small part to a three-stage turbocharger with variable turbine geometry, which results in lightning-quick responses.
High torque is on hand even at low engine speeds, with a particularly wide rev range available.

Numerically speaking: 280 kW. 740 Nm torque at 2,000 to 3,000 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. Top speed of 250 km/h. The combined fuel consumption is 6.6 litres per 100 km, with average CO2 emissions of 174 g/km.

The diesel engine in the new BMW X6 xDrive40d* boasts BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, 230 kW and maximum torque of 630 Nm. Thanks to twin turbochargers with variable turbine geometry, it offers exceptional performance: It can reach 100 km/h from a standing start in a mere 5.8* seconds and has a top speed of 240* km/h. In combination with Common Rail direct injection, it produces impressively low fuel consumption figures of just 6.2* l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 163* g/km.
