The BMW M6 Gran Coupé is much more than a perfectly attuned mix of high-performance technologies. It is the embodiment of the experience and the craftsmanship of BMW M engineers. While the individual details are impressive, the combination is overwhelming. It has a spirited, majestic character that you really have to experience for yourself, preferably in one of the five perfectly contoured seats. Plus, if desired, surrounded by the finest materials from the BMW Individual Collection. A full-bodied rumble from the unmistakable twin tailpipes announces the awesome power of the 412 kW M TwinPower Turbo V8 petrol engine. With its symbiosis of technologies such as the M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic and optional M Carbon ceramic brake, the BMW M6 Gran Coupé is a rousing reflection of the M philosophy. Even this experience can be further intensified however, with the optional Competition package. It increases both performance and the pulse rate of the pilot in the cockpit of the powerfully modelled body.

The unique character of the BMW M6 Gran Coupé is visible from every angle. Even at first sight, the air inlets at the front instantly underscore the car's sporty aspirations. Like every detail of this elegant four-door model, they are based on the principle of function first, supplying plenty of fresh air to the powerful engine behind the M kidney grille with chrome-plated double slats. The distinctive crease line begins directly behind the M gill elements. When you open one of the four doors, you are instantly impressed by the door sill finisher with M logo. As you sit down in one of the five perfectly contoured seats, you are captivated by the exclusive atmosphere of the cockpit. Every detail exudes expert craftsmanship. As an optional extra, passengers can be surrounded with the very finest materials from the BMW Individual Collection. The optional fine-grain leather 'Merino' Platinum trim indulges the senses with an exceptionally soft touch and the incomparable fragrance of an exclusive material.

Driving Dynamics & Efficiency.

The BMW M GmbH philosophy has a vibrant presence in the BMW M6 Gran Coupé. An ideal weight distribution, technology transfer from motor racing and the intelligent use of lightweight materials promise maximum dynamic performance. The lighter carbon roof, for example, not only increases efficiency but also results in enhanced agility due to the lowered centre of gravity. It's the perfect package for an even sportier driver experience, in a luxurious ambience that is unsurpassed.

Competition Package.

The Competition package delivers an unadulterated racing feel. The enhanced engine output, more direct steering and a specially tuned suspension ensure the BMW M6 Gran Coupé brings an even higher level of performance to the road. The output of the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine jumps from 412 kW to 423 kW. This enhanced performance is achieved by raising the boost pressure in the upper range of revs. The sports exhaust system generates a particularly dynamic engine sound that is destined to thrill. On the racetrack and in everyday use, the specially tuned suspension and extremely dynamic direct steering ensure that every steering command is executed with maximum precision. On the road, the Competition package is guaranteed to turn heads with exclusive 20" M light alloy wheels featuring Double-spoke style 601 M in Bicolour look with mixed tyres, along with the black, chrome-plated twin tailpipes of the sports exhaust system.

412 kW.

The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine converts power into amazement and is the crowning glory of the M power units. Its enormous power of 412 kW and 680 Nm is available at all times thanks to the innovative TwinScroll turbocharging concept.

This is possible due to the combination of high engine speeds, turbocharging and technological highlights such as Valvetronic and High Precision Injection. Full torque goes on stream from approx. 1,500 rpm, charting an impressive output curve of virtually linear power delivery, as well as putting a smile on the driver's face. The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine demonstrates that power and efficiency are by no means mutually exclusive with its intelligent BMW EfficientDynamics technologies such as Brake Energy Regeneration. These make for an average fuel consumption of just 9.9 litres of petrol per 100 kilometres.
